Brian is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist committed to providing exceptional care to every patient at Woonona Eyecare. He believes that clear, healthy vision is essential in all aspects of life—whether at work, school, home, or during leisure activities. Brian’s core values revolve around placing quality patient care at the heart of everything he does.

 

Brian graduated from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) with a Bachelor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science (Vision Science) with Honours and has experience in rural and overseas eyecare. Being a therapeutically endorsed optometrist, Brian can prescribe eye drops to manage a wide range of ocular conditions including eye infections, foreign bodies and glaucoma.

 

Brian loves to see children from all ages and backgrounds and is a member of the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO). As a behavioural optometrist, he’s committed to seeing children have the best start to their formative years by ensuring clear and comfortable vision.

 

Brian also has particular interest in the fitting of specialty contact lenses and the field of myopia control. He designs and fits OrthoK lenses and is a member of the Orthokeratology Society of Oceania (OSO). This also extends to using contact lenses as a lifestyle enhancing optical solution and in particular eye conditions such as keratoconus or post-corneal surgery with RGPS and Scleral Lenses.

 

Brian loves spending time with his wife and three young children. He’s passionate about all things travel, anything sports and great food and coffee.
