Rob is one of Woonona Eyecare’s experienced optical dispensers. Rob brings to the team vast experience and has been working in the optical industry since 1980. He is a member of Optical Dispensers Australia which helps him address our patients evolving visual demands and new technological advancements.

Over the years, Rob has working in many areas of the optical industry. He has worked as a representative for lens and frame manufacturers, deepening his knowledge of the products available on the market. He has also worked for diagnostic equipment manufacturers and has experience providing visual aids for patients with reduced vision through his work at Vision Australia.

Rob spends the time to understand everyone’s visual needs to ensure the right lens choice. He has extensive practice fitting multifocal lenses to ensure everyone gets the best vision possible. He also has experience completing specialty projects for customers including prescription safety glasses, swimming goggles and dive masks and lenses for hobby shooters.

 

Outside of work Rob is active in the Scout community and enjoys spending time outdoors, attempting to catch fish. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
